Harris Evolution are proud to announce that Managing Director, Luke Harris, has been awarded a place in the London Marathon for April 2019 in aid of the worthwhile charity Make-A-Wish UK.
Make-A-Wish UK grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. They’re given quality time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make magical memories they can treasure forever – whatever their future may hold. We want to transform the lives of 1,000 children this year by granting their One True Wish!
Luke said, “I am grateful to say I have been awarded a place to run the London Marathon on Sunday 28th April 2019. This will be my first marathon, and before 8 weeks ago I hadn’t ran for a long time so a lengthy training plan has started. I am training to complete it in under 3 hours 50 minutes. It is a brilliant charity which I am proud to represent and raise money for.”
